2013 Annual Business Meeting ABC Motions Ballot
Guidelines for completing the ABC Motions Ballot – Prior to completing this ballot, download the motion details at www.adultchildren.org/abc/Ballot_Proposals.pdf and discuss the motions at your meeting, leading to a group conscience decision on each of the motions. One of the members should then complete the ballot and submit it as the collective decision from the group. OPTIONAL: This year we are also including a space for brief comments about the motions to be shared with the members at the ABC (1000 characters maximum -- about 12 lines of text). The comments should reflect the those from the group conscience discussions at the meeting relative to the motion. In this way, even those meetings unable to send a representative to the ABC still get the opportunity to share their ideas and concerns relative to the motions.
Note: The proposal descriptions in this ballot are abreviated to reduce the size of the ballot. Refer to the Proposals document above for full descriptions of the proposals.
Please note: Only one ballot should be submitted for each ACA Meeting and/or InterGroup. The submission of multiple ballots from a given meeting or Intergroup may invalidate all of those submitted from that meeting/Intergroup.
Please specify the WSO Meeting Number for your meeting or Inter Group: Don't know your WSO meeting number? Then click here to go to the ACA meeting list. When you find your meeting, you'll find the WSO meeting number in parenthesis near the end of your meeting's description. Meeting time and location:
For each motion, please indicate the results of your group conscience decision:
Please enter an e-mail address where we can reach you:
Those motions receiving a 2/3 majority Yes votes by the ACA meetings/InterGroups will then be considered at the ABC ("No opinion" votes excluded). The issues discussed and approved at the ABC will then serve as items for WSO action during the following year.
In clicking Submit, your ballot will be submitted to the 2013 ABC Committee and you will receive a copy of your submission by e-mail to the address entered above.
