New Meetings
- Read, download and/or print the free Guidelines for New Meetings brochure.
- If you haven’t already, sign up for The Traveler monthly newsletter to keep up with announcements, news and events from around the ACA fellowship.
- If there is an Intergroup nearby, they can offer support. You can also find other resources directly from other Intergroup websites.
- Get the word out to your community by placing ACA Trifolds such as Finding Emotional Sobriety, 25 Questions – Am I an Adult Child, etc in libraries, with counselors, community bulletin boards, and/or with other 12 Step fellowships (subject to their permission). These and other trifolds can be purchased directly from WSO.
- Register the meeting with WSO.
- The Sample Format can be used, in the beginning, until the group decides to hold a group conscience meeting to make changes.
- The Handbook for Adult Children, starting on page 557 in our fellowship text, also offers assistance and includes a meeting format.

Established Meetings
- Please review/update your meeting once per year in the the WSO Meeting List. Instructions for updating meeting information can be found here.
- An Intergroup can be a helpful resource as well as help your group save money on literature. You can search the Intergroup Listing. If you don’t find an Intergroup that you would like to join, consider forming an Intergroup with other meetings. You can send an email to [email protected] for help with this.
- The Conducting a Business Meeting trifold can help with business meeting ideas.
- The Crosstalk and Good Enough Group booklets can provide helpful insights on keeping the meeting safe and healthy.

Along with Tradition Two, the 12 Concepts and Suggested Commitment to Service can provide guidance. The fellowship also recommends reaching out to other members in service who may share their Experience, Strength, and Hope. We are not alone.

How can we make sure we're a healthy group?
The Good Enough Group booklet can provide great insights into maintaining a healthy group. Another resource that can be used is the Healthy Meetings Practices document.
